Prakash Jha’s ‘politics’ unfolds today

The wait is finally over! Leaving behind all the controversies and allegations, Prakash Jha’s multi starrer and political saga ‘Raajaneeti’ have opened up today. Loosely based on Indian epic Mahabharata, Jha’s ambitious venture features Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Arjun Rampal, Nana Patekar and Manoj Bajpai. While Naseruddin Shah does a brief role, Hollywood actress Sarah Thompson plays a part as Ranbir’s girlfriend.

The film had been facing oppositions for its political theme and Katrina’s resemblance to Congress President Sonia Gandhi. Both Ranbir and Katrina have shed their glam tag and adapted a new serious avatar.

Now that the film is released, let’s see what the audience makes out of this ‘politics’ and what is the verdict of box office….
